 When to go to South Korea
The best time of year to visit South Korea is in the autumn between Sep-Nov when the weather is fine and clear.

During the spring months from Mar-May you can expect pleasant warm weather conditions in South Korea.

The monsoon season occurs from June until late July. There are also short periods of rainfall in early September.

 South Korean Climate & Clothing
Climate in South Korea: Korea has well-defined seasons. Winters are cold (average -3°C in Seoul; +3°C in Busan), clear and snowy in the Gangwon-do province near Seoul.

Autumn is mild and less humid. The mild spring brings cherry blossoms. Summer is warm (average 25°C) and humid, with frequent rainfall in July. The southern islands enjoy tropical summers.

Required Clothing for South Korea: Lightweight cottons and linens clothing are worn during summer, with light- to medium weights in spring and autumn. Medium to heavy weights are advised during the winter.
